Meet Kelly
I am the founder and owner of LakeTime Management and LakeTime Exclusive, private residential service companies created around the needs of secondary homeowners. Through that work, I have had the privilege of caring for properties when their owners are away, preparing homes for their return, coordinating projects and improvements, working alongside trusted professionals, and managing many of the details that come with owning a Northwoods residence from a distance.
It is a business built on relationships, discretion and trust—and it gave me an education in real estate that I could never have gained from the transaction side alone.
Today, I bring that experience to my real estate practice with Mahler Sotheby’s International Realty.
When I walk a property with a buyer, I naturally look beyond the showing. I think about how the property will live: what ownership will require, how the home and land will need to be cared for, and whether it truly supports what the client wants to create in the Northwoods.
That perspective becomes especially valuable when the search involves a secondary residence, an estate or family compound, a corporate retreat, or land on which to build. These can be deeply personal acquisitions and, at the same time, significant assets intended to be held for many years or generations.
My background is equally relevant when I represent a seller. I understand the work that often needs to happen before a property is ready for the market. I can help identify what deserves attention and coordinate the appropriate professionals—from property care and specialty trades to professional design and staging—so the preparation is deliberate rather than rushed just before photography.
I know the Northwoods not only from selling real estate here, but from years spent working within its homes, on its properties, with its local professionals, and alongside the people who own and care for them.
My real estate practice is focused particularly in Vilas and Oneida Counties, with access through the Greater Northwoods MLS allowing me to assist clients throughout the broader region.
For me, real estate is ultimately about more than finding a property.
